Do you want to have a general community or a live bearer only tank? What size is the tank? Swords are usually very peaceful. I've had livebearer only tanks that I put bushy cover plants in and let the fry grow up with the parents. I've had even guppy fry in with swords and they only ate the weakest, deformed fry. Only the strongest of the fry survived which is what you want. If you wish to raise fry, most egglayers are small and fast enough to get to and eat ALL the fry. Hope this helps. OS.
