Hey, i found this on two separate rocks in my ten gallon tank and i dont know what they could be? eggs? They're little clear, jelly like bubbles with speckles in them. Please help.

ten gal
2 lemon tetras
1 black skirt tetra
1 marble hatchetfish
2 diamond tetra
2 balloon bellied mollies

If they were eggs, I would expect them to be uniform in color and lots of them together. How long has the tank been set up? Do these seem to be getting bigger or changing color?

I used to find things exactly like that when I lived on the beach. I never knew what they were, but they were fun to play with as a kid. Haha. But considering I don't know what they were, and that was also on an ocean (and you are posting in FW forum) I have no idea. Just thought I'd put in my 2 cents.

The little pest pond snails lay eggs like that. Almost impossible to see except out of the water.

scrape them off? why? i have a little snail the size of a pea whos been in my tank for a few months now. I just saw two new little baby snails. these guys are bad news? (my tank has been set up since january)

If those hatch you will never be able to remove all of the snails from your tank. One or two snails are great, but would you want thousands?

Aestheticaly yes. also they creat a lot of waste, and it's annoying to have them sucked up onto your glass you're trying to look through.

On the other hand, they are fun to squish and let the fish eat. I mash 10 - 15 every other day or so and the angels can't get enough of them.

It's funny. The people on this board who are infested with snails, don't want them. And the people who want them, can never get them. We really should start a snail swapping program. :)
