If they were eggs, I would expect them to be uniform in color and lots of them together. How long has the tank been set up? Do these seem to be getting bigger or changing color?

I used to find things exactly like that when I lived on the beach. I never knew what they were, but they were fun to play with as a kid. Haha. But considering I don't know what they were, and that was also on an ocean (and you are posting in [acronym:33f3234da9="Freshwater"]FW[/acronym:33f3234da9] forum) I have no idea. Just thought I'd put in my 2 cents.

If those hatch you will never be able to remove all of the snails from your tank. One or two snails are great, but would you want thousands?
