What is this?

I fond these white things that feel slimy and kinda squishy in one of my aquarium decorations. What the hell is this? Currently in this tank i have 7 cherry barbs and a cory and I do have detritus worms that I can't get rid of. Could it be from the worms? heres a pic.

Could be an egg casing of some sort-Likely an invader. Could be sections of Tape Worms, as a matter of fact I'm sure that is what it is.

Ew really? How did I get tape worms in my tank? I stick my hands in that tank, will I get tape worms? I have parasite medication should I give them that? I have noticed that my fish have been fat and I recently had a crayfish die from that tank and she looked bloated.

You have to ingest the tapeworms to get them. Cats get them from eating mice with them or fleas that carry etc. Just putting your hands in the water you can't get them.
