Hi everyone

I have 20g fully cycled tank with two types of fish. I try to grow the right type of algea for my otos, but im having a hart time with it, but this white thing apeared on walls, plants and everywhere else. I clean it on the walls, but i keep on my plants in case if this is something they can eat. What is it?
I have no ammonia, ph level little bit high but its not too bad. No nitrates. Sometimes little bit nirites, but i do water changes , so i try to keep it to zero level.

And another thing...
so i thought this was green algea and it can be a good source of food for otos, so i got little bit of this green stuff from another tank, because i was desperate, my otos were hungry. But apparently this is cyanobacteria. Is it good for anything? Should i remove it?

You should get that Cyano out of there asap!!!

Upping the flow to at least medium, and keeping their water really clean. They don't do really well in poor quality.

They will eat foods like blanched peas, zucchini, etc. and foods like Hikari sinking wafers for omnivores, Omega One mini marine pellets and high quality algae waters. Another thing you can do is to grow algae on rocks in vases in a sunny place. You can use tank water to help and a pinch of flake food with clean stones in the adding evaporated water from the old pwc fish tank.

Ok ill remove cyano today. But what is that white thing??
Yes, i do all that , veggies and wafers. Its been weeks they dont eat wafers. Veggies, they can eat only cucumbers and zucchini, but they dont seem to love it either.
Not my first tank, but problems for the first time.

Click on link, then click on external link. It should load.

I think my connection was slow. Can you re-post the pic with the white thing. I can't tell what it is you are referring to.

If it is the fuzzy stuff all over the plants? Up the water changes and increase circulation and reduce lighting period.
