Well I must admit I'm a sucker for this sort of stuff.

I have one filter for mostly mechanical filtration and playing around with and another I try not to disturb.

At least my husband can't complain - he is always up me for the amount of power my tanks use at the moment... While we are at it is there anyway to make 3 filters run off the one plug??

I have a 55g tank with a strong heater and 2 oversized filters that I've been watching for a friend for a while now and for shiggles I did the math on how much it was costing me in electricity to keep it. With everything running including lights it was about $4 a month. Aquarium equipment doesn't cost hardly anything to run.
