What kind of fish is this?

It's a female red swordtail. Closely related to the Platy but too long to be one. In fact, ( just a little fish history ;) ) the original red swordtails came from crossing a wild green sword with a wild red platy. All other non green colors came from that original cross. Molly, platy, sword can all look real similar, and it can be hard to pick which is which.

I agree with the above assessment of female sword.

If you want to get a male for her, please be sure you have at least two females, preferably three to go with one male, and understand that you will have fry that count towards your total stocking numbers.
