What Pleco is this?

A while back I bought, from Petsmart, a common Pleco which was labeled a Bristlenose Pleco. I returned it to a good LFS.


Recently, I bought another Bristlenose Pleco, but this time I thought I would be smart-er, and buy an albino so I could be sure it was a bristlenose.


This fish is growing FAST! And now that I know that common plecos exist in the albino form, I am wondering if I have been duped again.


Can anyone tell me if this is a bristle nose or common?

I would say that too but I honestly don't know what an albino common looks like so I can't compare

You are correct. I have bristles and the females have little to no "whiskers" at all. That is a good looking albino.
