What a score! - Aquarium Advice

Oh man, yesterday and today were the ultimate aquaria score days.

First, I have a friend who lives just outside of town, she calls and says her neighbour is selling fishtanks for cheap. So I take my teenage fish-loving neighbour and we go see my friend's neighbour...I got a fully loaded 30 gallon aquarium complete with filter, heater, canopy, bubbler, etc PLUS two albino convict cichlids for THRITY DOLLARS (canadian)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had some young ladies come into work (I took a part time job at a local pet shop last month) and ask if we took fish because they had been breeding guppies and no longer wanted them. I said no, it's against our policy to take fish on, and they asked if I knew anyone who wanted them, free. I agreed to take them, so the gals came into the store last night after I was done work, and I came in this morning to find at least 50 guppies of various ages and the coolest looking Rhino Pleco! At our local Big Al's (I say local, it's 45 minutes away in Barrie) they sell for $30!!

What a score, eh?
