What should I do ? (Dilema)

Rite well I have my cute little dawrf puffer in a ten [acronym:c5f1e1e1c9="Gallon"]gal[/acronym:c5f1e1e1c9] tank the only problem is he seems sad as he doesnt have a fellow puffer.
Any way my problem is I can not track one down!
I rang all my local stores about 10 and not one had any in and could not get hold of any as they are not currently on any stocking lists.
What should I do ?

There are always online stores. Get ready to pay an arm and a leg though. The shipping on live animals is terrible at some stores.

Especially when you are getting just one. It would be better to add some other items to the shopping list if you decide to go that route.

One alternative would be to make his tank more interestingly aquascaped. Puffers seem to really enjoy exploring, and there's less chance of harm being done than if you try adding another puffer.

Yeah, I was going to buy some plants online once. Just a couple, and the shipping was $30!!! I could buy a tank full of plants at the [acronym:5d86ab8a56="Local Fish Store"]LFS[/acronym:5d86ab8a56] for the price of the shipping alone.

O, I didn't notice you were from the UK. That complicates things. Well I don't know what to tell you.
