What should i feed my puffer?

I got a ceylon puffer yesterday and read somewhere that they need to keep their beaks down and you should feed them hard foods. I fed him a prawn tail , is it hard enough to use once a week?

Seeing as they're brackish and will eventually require full salt, you can probably feed clams and mussels. I was able to find a few good discussions on them.
