Hen ever a drop of water run down my glass and dries it leaves a white trail that is Impossible to remove I think it's calcium anyone know how to help ?

That usually just happens whenever you spill water on the tank. You can simply wipe it off with a cloth or something...at least that's what I do.

From the heater it collects in the lid and runs down

Calcium and magnesium carbonates mostly. I have it here too. About the only thing you can do about it is keep you tank topped off.
