What to do with shrimp moltings

Hi,

I just got a couple of amano shrimp not too long ago. They both recently molted and I was just wondering if they tend to eat any of the molting to recover some elements? Do you usually leave them in for a bit or remove them asap?

I removed them to be safe for now...

Also how often should they molt? I think I remember reading somewhere that about once a month is normal but I'm not sure.

you should leave them in there. they eat the shells for calcium to harden their new shell
