what to feed rasboras? - Aquarium Advice

Just received a nice little school of pygmy rasboras and ... they don't seem to be eating. I thought that they would eat dried flakes like the rest of the tank (danios & tetras) but they don't seem to leave the bottom of the tank during feeding and nothing makes it that far down. They also ignore the sinking pellets I have for my shrimp. Haven't been able to find much info searching and wonder if I shouldn't be feeding them something else?

How long ago did you get them? Maybe they are still trying to get used to their new surroundings.

Try some frozen or freeze-dried bloodworms.

They arrived on Fri. Didn't feed anything in the tank until Sat and then again this evening. At least this evening, they seemed interested but never ascended up to the surface to poke around for food.

Bloodworms? Ok, just think that they are about the same size as the fish
