What type of fish is this PIC inside..... - Aquarium Advice

This is the male of my breeding pair. Im pretty sure what it is just want to be sure.

I did see a Texas cichlid at the [acronym:d771af0a19="Local Fish Store"]LFS[/acronym:d771af0a19] today, but it did not have all that coloring. Your fish does look similar to the Texas cichlids in the link I gave you earlier.

That is an electric blue Jack Dempsey. Very expensive fish!

What makes you think that. The fry look just like texas. The mom is Texas and fry look nothing like the dad
