What Type of Rocks are Safe?

Hi!

I recently went to a ball park and noticed some cool looking rocks in a ditch. I thought I would take them home and try to research what type of rocks they were. It turns out, it is very hard to identify a rock:ermm:

I have a few pictures (sorry for they horrible quality. They are from my Ipad):facepalm: and I was hoping you guys could help me determine if these rocks were safe for aquarium use!!!:flowers:
I also wanted to know how I should treat them before they are put in the tank, and if hot glue is safe for aquarium use.

Sorry, I couldn't get all the pictures on there.

I'm pretty sure that the rocks in the picture above is Scoria.

Here are a couple more pictures of the same rocks.

I'm pretty sure this one is a type of Slate......:ermm:

And this one is the last rock, which I'm almost 100% sure is Slate.

As far as if they are safe I don't know... To treat them, use regular vinegar, if it fizzes then you can't use it
