Well, I have two favorites. Congos because they are beautiful and flashy. And on a smaller scale, the rummy noses. Because they are not shy. They are fun and beautiful also.

I like cardinals...and I've read that they don't get neon tetra disease, don't know if that's true or not.

I have 6 Congo Tetras, they are great, I also like Cochu's, but they're proving suicidal, one jumped outta the tank when it hit the surface for food

Serpae are really nice too, but you need 6 or more.

I keep green fire tetras, gold pristella tetras, and rummy nose tetras, and I really like all of them.

Well, since I have two varieties and I wouldn't want to chose one over the other I would have to say the black skirt. They are very active and seem to be a cross between a goldfish and a fancy guppy

I like the silver tetras. Sort of flashy. My wife bought a couple of them and I'll expand the number into a school as room becomes available.

I like the lemon tetras they get nice and yellow with red eyes, pretty cool looking. I just need to get more.
