When did my aquarium shrink?

When I inherited my 15 gallon tank, I thought it was great. Then I found a 30 gallon for cheap. ooooo I thought I had a whole ocean in my house.

Now after having read about how best to stock aquariums and take care of the water parameters.... Let's just say my aquariums heard about my research and then shrunk to about a quarter of the size they were before.

Anyone else's aquariums shrink after they got 'em?

I also had the problem of my first tank being overstocked once I knew how to stock them properly. I returned allot of fish back to the lfs and kept my tanks 'lightly' stocked.

I have a 80 gal tank and that is starting to shrink too! 8O

Mine has been shrinking since I got it in April 04!!!! I keep planing the largest I can have in that spot, which will be a 54-55 gal. And to get it that big has to be custom made (ouch!!!).

But... what can you do? If it's too small, it's too small... gotta get a bigger one!!!!

By the way I also love the chinchilla!!!!
