Where is the BB in a Fluval 206? is it in the sponge media or one of the little bins? Also, does it really need the charcoal filter bin?

It would be 1 of the bins, most likely filled with bio-max, and the charcoal is really up to preference, most people don't run charcoal at all

I would say its everywhere in the filter. Are you asking where its most concentrated?
