which blasting sand to get

I want to use black substrate in my next tank. I found black blasting sand at Tractor Supply. They have three different types. One says it is 80 grit garnet sand, one says 80 grit glass beads, and then the other says coal slag. I am thinking that coal slag may not be good for aquariums. That leaves the garnet or glass beads. What is everyone using?
