Which layout do you like better?

I'm trying to figure out how to set my decor up in the ten gallon. The budget jar is empty so I'm working with what I have Which set up do you guys prefer?
Number 1: (sorry I don't know how to size these!)

Hard choice. I'd say layout 2.

I like No 2. It's not so symmetrical and the rock grouping looks good. Both look good though. Steve.

I would say 2 but I would put some shorter plants in front of the ones at the right.

+1 on #2 and moving the taller plants back on the right side. It will add "depth" to the tank.

Yeah, put the tall plants on the right further back and add some shorter ones in front of them. Other than that layout 2. Also a darker background would really make the tank look a lot better!

I like #1. It seems more open and simpler.

I think it depends on your stocking. #1 would be great for fish that love the open water, #2 for shier fish or fish that like lots of cover/plants.. My preference is #1, but I'm a minimalist when it comes to decoration.

I say #2 but i would move the little log to the front.

Definitely two.. You don't wanna have a big hide and seek thing like in one. Always have some open space.
