White cloud changes color

I've never had this type of fish before but I have 3 white cloud minnows. 2 of which I got today and they were a clear kind of opaque color now a few hours later I notice they are getting darker and less see through. is that how they are supposed to be. First picture is right after they were added to my tank second and third is a few hours later. Btw they looked darker in person

They could have faded from stress. They should color up once they get comfortable.
