How can I get rid of and prevent the white crust from forming on the top of my tank. Ie on the hood, Bligh's housings, and filters... its a pita to clean and looks dingy.

There's a good aquarium cleaner made by API that's safe to use it comes in a spray bottle it works for me pretty good or you can mix a little vinegar in a spray bottle with water if you dont want to spend the extra $ both work for me! :)

I've used the vinigar and water. I was hoping for a way to stop it all togeather.
