White film?

I have had my tank set up for a few weeks now, there is a white film buildup on the black suction cups on the heater. And also there are white things on the sides of the tank that look like small <1mm balls attached by a thin thread like connection. This happened on my last tank too but I figured i would ask about it. Any Ideas

Well, It seems to be going away, except for some of it... the things on the glass are gone, but there is still a little white stuff left on the plastic. It is soft and breaks off easily, so I am not too worried about it. I hope it is nothing.

I have the film on my suction cups too, not sure what it is besides just "crud".

About the small white things, do you have snails of any kind in your tank?

At the time I saw the white things there were none.


the white things are gone now, I dont know what they were.

the only snails are MTS.

If it is just crud I wont worry about it too much.
