White fungus?

I added driftwood to my tank two weeks ago and it has covered itself in a whitish fungus? Anyone know what this is?

That's normal, although it doesn't happen to every piece of driftwood that goes into a tank. It is some kind of organic matter that begins to decompose once submerged in water. It'll go away within a few weeks.

yep, normal and nothing to worry about. I had a pleco when I first added my driftwood and he enjoyed it.
