white gold barb?

Wow I never seen a white barb but I have 3 gold barbs but i never seen a white barb.

My guess is some sort of deformity, maybe bad tank conditions when young (assuming it is tank bred) or inbreeding?

I bought them all at a local pet store that has fantastic tanks. I got them because of their odd color. I've tried to find anything close on line and not a single picture or explanation of a white gold barb. I have 4 total with white on them.

Wow! I would guess bad water quality what were the tank mates in the tank where you got them?

Cherry barbs
