White stringy feces - Aquarium Advice

Hi there, I have a male dwarf gourami that has white stringy feces. I did some reading and I saw those were symptoms of hole-in-the-head, but I thought that was a primarily discus parasite? Is it possible that my gourami has it?

my platies had white stringy feces and i treated them with jungles antiparasite food about 3 months ago...normal feces since then and lookin' good...

HitH is just one parasite that can cause white mucusy feces. My personal battle was with camallanus. patagonia was spot on with suggesting the Jungle anti-parasite food. It worked great for me (except my pleco didn't eat it so it kept recurring, but that is a story for another post).
