Wicked News !!

My tank passed all three test's today ! (Ammonia, Ph & Nitrite) .
Was more than happy !!

Have also added a thermometer, some more plants and a reef backing.

Got 7 fish altogether, 2 male guppie's, 3 other small fish and two medium size fish. The others I can't remember then names for !
(It is written down somewhere)

Glad to hear that !

I think the fish are all OK. One of the larger one's has really big burst's of power and darts around like a nutter, sometimes even making a splash !
A lot of the fish are also always at the top of the tank, or messing around by things like the filter and heater.

Why could this be ?

some fish just prefer to be up top, notice any rapid breathing or other signs of distress? if it's the guppies you are referring too, mine are pretty nutz too and they love to commit suicide by jumping out of the tank....

It's the Gold Gourami that goes mad !
Just has really quick outburst of power and darts around like a mad man occassionally. You can hear the splash too sometimes !

I have a gold colored gourami (sunset maybe?) and he does the same thing - he'll get a big burst of energy and jet back and forth. He also will blow bubbles and set them on top of the water but they don't dicipate, they stay there unless I wipe them away. If I rub my finger against the glass he'll take his long "whiskers" and twirl them around like he's touching my finger - he'll kiss it too.
