wierd apple snail - Aquarium Advice

its like burrowing into the gravel like looking for food. even though i just fed it. maybe light? i dont know but im worried. maybe its digging its grave?

Hehe.. its quite common. Do you happen to have other fish that could be nipping at his tentacles or screwing with him? even if you dont, many apple snails do this, so worry not hes probably not digging his own grave lol

Another thing i forgot to mention... usually when snails do this it is because it is cold... you should keep the water temperature around 80-82 degrees although they will survive at 65-82 degrees. What is the temperature in your water?

Oh okay, then I doubt its cold. He probably just has a mental disorder. You should definately take him to a psych.

yeah i put them in with my brichardi because they were eating all my plants. i have a lettuce thingy hanging on a veggie holder and i think their enjoyinh it. ever since i switched 2 sand they havent done it
