Hi all, I'm missing a few endler's guppies and I think they may have died but I never found them? Could my BN Pleco have eaten the little guys dead body?

Yup! Pleco's are scavengers..they'll eat anything meaty that hits the bottom..
Edit-they'll being bn's, not all Pleco's eat meat..

As far as I know they will. I had a small cory disappear on me and found a half eaten body, I blamed the bn Pleco.

Oh boy , I guess that's better than sitting and rotting! I thought BN Pleco were herbivores? Oh well!

Bn's are omnivores, best to get dead fish out fast though, if it died of disease you don't want other fish eating the diseased body.. Zombie fish.. Bad;)

Thanks guys! I didn't want to go grave digging in my plants! I thought the Kribs may have eaten them, but now I think the small guys died because of recent ph shifts due to CO2, or just old age. Now I will look at my Pleco a little differently - spooky!

Kribs could have done the killing than simply employed the Pleco for disposal of the body?!? You have one sinister tank my friend;)
