will my platies eat my guppies?

I have 3, 3 month old mickey mouse platies in my 20 gal tank and 2 guppy fry in a little fish bowl and I want to put the guppies in the 20 gal. can I do this? , will the platies eat the guppies?

Hi, yes they will eat the fry if the fry are too small. The general rule is, if they are smaller than your other fish's(platies) mouths, then they will eat them. You could use a breeding trap or breeding net(put in the 20g) to keep the fry in until they are big enough not to be eaten...
