Then the filter would suck them up lol :P

You could place a sponge or something over the intake though.

Apparently they live in VERY acidic (pH 3) swamp water and eat plankton. Doesn't sound like the easiest fish to keep...

My first thought was ouch.....and then I read that it was a fish and not a deep finger gash!
