Hi, normally wounds should heal up so just extra water changes. Any idea on cause though? ie could it be a bacterial sore?

Yesterday I gave him a salt bath now he good to great extent, started eating, redness disappeared. I had a pvc pipe as his cave, now he has out grown the pipe in width, i think it might be rash from that, tomorrow I will put a pipe with bigger dia.

Out of interest - what salt level and duration did you use in the bath? Was interested vs fish type.
