Congrats ... sounds like your on your way to having an established tank!

I may have missed this on a previous thread, but how large and what fish do you have in mind?

Only a small 65lt tank have been cycling with 2x neon tetras and 2 x Platys
So my thoughts were
Neons
Zebras
Harlequins
Guppies
Red-tailed shark 1 only
I can go up to 75cm (30in) of fish with it being tropical
So I will look at size and numbers when I add new fish over the next few months
All is good

I live in a 100 year old terraced house and am thinking if knocking out a hole in the chimney stack to housing a 3ft tank in it.
Will do a fishless cycle though

65L comes out to just over 15 gallons or so, The RTS will need at least a 55gallon bigger tank. As juveniles they're not too bad, but once they get bigger, it will become very territorial and aggressive. In a tank that small, even if it's only one, it will claim the entire tank as theirs.

I hear what your saying but I kept a RTS in a 30 gal 36"-15"-18" tank for a little over 8 year he grow to about 5.5" and used to chase other fish around but never hurt any of them. I am aware that they can be territorial but this is mostly to other RTS's
I am also aware my tank is smaller.
This is something I am going to consider
