I got this yesterday its a cool app but is there any instrucctions on how to use it to its full potential?

click on the little i on the top left of both settings and schedule.

the order to get it up and running is,
go to settings
set the sliders to the amount of days in between certain tasks you do
set the time you wish to be notifiied, if there is more than 1 alert on the same day you will still only get 1 message
then click save
go to schedule
if it's the first time all buttons will be green
at any time you can click on the button to let the app know you have performed that task and it will start the count all over
if in settings you set to 0 days it will disable that alert and button
thats it

the idea was to keep it simple so that new aquarists and pros would be able to use the app without issue. the amount of tasks that are available are also so that newcomers won't have to think of the many maintenance tasks that it entails. I hope my app keeps many more aquariums healthy.

I just downloaded this app thru Itunes and synced it to my Ipad. when I click the icon it fails to run. How can I fix it so that it will work. I downloaded version 1.2 my Ipad is 3.2 version.

@gibbus some have had issues with the iPad who downloaded directly, but you are the first to report a problem from someone who synced via iTunes. This might be due to running iOS 3.2. All my tests on the iPad were on the latest OS, I believe 4.2. By the way local notifications only work on OS 4 and above, it was a new feature introduced then.

My only suggestion is that you erase and resync although you might have already. I assume you are not running 4.2 because of jailbreaking.

I'm considering buying this app on the apple app store, but I can see there are no reviews since the latest release.
Please can I ask users of 1.2 to write an objective review so others can make an informed decision.
I'm sure the developer would like to see lots of reviews too

no.
i have not had my unit jailbreaked. That would make it unsuitable for my programs used in my practice. I havent updated to 4.2 because i was told that the 3.2 was still better.

so my only solution is to upgrade it to 4.2?
