Wanted: Assassin snails

I have an out of control population of pond snails that I need to get in check. Im in Ontario Canada and none of my LFS have any assassins right now. If anyone can help me out that would be great. Thanks

Try lettuce. Leave it in the tank after you turn the lights out and then remove it in the morning

Ive tried. Its a planted tank and they totally ignored the lettuce.

Did you try the bottle trick? Take a 20oz bottle and and cut the top part off, turn it around and out their favorites food in and remove it in the morning

Cut the top off and put it back in upside down? Like a fish trap, Is that what you mean?

Yes that's what I mean. Use a small enough bottle so fish don't go in

I have 5 extra assassin snails I can sell. But I don't know how much shipping is to canada.

Im unsure aswell as ive never bought or sold anything on here before. Probably much more then what theyre worth .

And ill give the bottle trick a try..maybe with some cucumber.

I've heard of using a small jar overnight with blanched zucchini, a few nights in a row should make a dent!

I have some cucumber in there now. But they dont seem to interested.
