I don't think u would need more than one it really powerful unless u have a 100 gallon and up.

But are those dimensions large enough for a 40g breeder tank? That's what I'm setting up right now and need a light for. I need high light as I plan on growing lots of moss and some harder plants in it.

I had it on my 75 gallon it's very powerful for my coral reef so it would definitely be more than enough for a 40 gallon.
