Or similar I really need background plants too. Med light I suppose!

How big is the tank? Anubias are not considered med light, but more low light. Depending on the size of your tank there are different types of swords. They get big and are great plants.

It's a 56 gallon cube style. I think the anubias will be ok though since the tank is 24" tall

Anubias will be fine and you could do a sword in that tank. Argentine sword (you would need to trim it on occasion) rosette swords are nice, I just got one of those, they are smaller than Amazons I believe.
