A quick pic of my RCS tank in progress
I'll make a separate thread for it later when it's all coming together
But should I add more moss on top of the moss already there or add an amazon sword in the middle in the background?

I'd say you have enough moss. Try adding anubias or something like that to try to fill it up more.

I'm not trying to make it too planted I want the shrimp to really stand out and not resemble my planted tank just need something to cover the background
And for the ground I could try a baby tear carpet

Found his on a YouTube video
I might try something like this stacking pieces of slate to make stairs

I'd say the crypt or the sword would be fine...but both will send out baby plants soon/eventually

for DBT how much lighting do you have/what type and and CO2(liquid/DIY)?

without lighting and Co2 in any form,

flourish excel is great

I got a sword and some slate waters still a bit cloudy so I guess I have to rinse the slate put more
Doing a 50% water change right now
And it's two 15w 6500k bulbs
And I'm dosing flourish excel daily
