Assassins and apple-coexist?

Should I pull my Goldie out while the assassin clears out the ponds? Or will they be ok? The apple is about 1.5 inches and the assassin is .5 inches or so.

I'd be careful, I've seen assassin snails team up and kill fully grown apple's, so I'd be safe and remove it just incase.
