Bettas tank mates

Can I add a betta with my 4 gold barbs, swordtail fish and a black redtail platy?? I have a 10 gallon tank.

I wouldn't. The betta might mistake the fish with flashy/fancy tails for another betta. Its a gamble on what would happen.

No. Your tank will be overstocked and will make the betta kill the others. Actually your tank is currently at a 139% stocking level. No more fish should be added.

IMHO AqAdvisor is very conservative in it's stocking advice, and can sometimes be almost ridiculous, but barbs are notorious fin nippers, and with the betas long fins I wouldn't risk it.
