I want to know if the color intensity is very visible in bloody mary than fire red or if the difference is minimal? I am deciding on which one to buy. I am not concerned about there future generation. I know in case of bloody mary the culling is more than 50 percent but I am not concerned about it. I just want some nice dark red neos. But fire reds are cheaper than bloody mary so please tell me if the difference of color is huge or minimal. Thanks

My understanding is Fire Red color is from the shell of the shrimp - opaque.

The color from the Ruby Red is primarily from the body/meat of the shrimp and sheer shell. Has more glowing look, jewel-like. Much more striking, and unusual for Neo shrimp.

Both are really beautiful though.

Thanks a lot. Too bad the breeder is out of stock. Will try my best to get them.
