My cray loves to uproot. I love for my plants to grow. Has anyone kept their crays and plants together successfully. If so what tips do you have

If you are interested then trading your crays for cajun or mexican dwarfs works great.

Good point ... how does that work with stem plants.... that's usually what he goes after

It really depends on your crayfish. There are a lot of species, and dwarf ones aren't uprooters. Like godfan said.

If you have an interestingly set up tank, you can occupy them in other ways.

If you pick smart, compatible rooting plants, you'll have stems with strong root systems and weights.

That's my best advice. As with fish, plants aren't compatible with everything.

Make sure the Cray has hiding spots.
You can tie Anubias and Ferns of course.
You can keep stem plants potted or surround them with a few larger rocks like for Goldfish.
