Eggs on fish?

Not sure if this is the right place to post but hope you can help. I have two Nerite snails in my tank with a bunch of fish. They lay eggs everywhere which doesn’t bother me but looks like they’ve managed to stick one to my Siamese Algae Eater! Is this normal? Definitely looks like a Nerite egg and not ich. IMG_0004.jpg
 
My guess is a tiny abrasion on the tail fin with a small bit of fungus attached. Probably nothing to worry about.
 
Thank you for your reply’s. I’m guessing v227 is right especially with this fish’s history. He does thrash around sometimes and has actually jumped out the tank and managed to get underneath the tank which was a nightmare but that was over a year ago and has done well since. I’ll keep my eye on him.
