Escape artists ??

Are Neos escape artists? I am considering putting a peice floating driftwood in my tank & want to make sure it will not be used as an escape vehicle. Had a rock shrimp that was very good at escaping so am paranoid about the neos

Smaller shrimp (neos, caridinia) don't appear to carry their weight well out of the water. I would not worry about it. I have plants and DW above the water line in my shrimp tanks and yet to see the shrimp climb out of the water.
Amanos, on the other, are good climbers. Once during a drip acclimation an amano nearly made it to the top of plastic 5 gallon bucket. That was over a 12" vertical ascent up the wall.
