I have 1 apple snail and want to provide the best care possible. Please help me with these questions:
1) how often should I feed vegetables? Daily?
2) My ph is 7.4-7.6, so do I need to provide additional calcium? If I added cuttlebone, how much would that raise my ph? (I also have neon tetras, julii & pygmy cory's and platys in same tank)
3) His shell has algae, should I gently try and wipe it off?
4) Are there two layers to the shell, the inner and outer layer? Because his shell is yellow all over, but in one area, the yellow is more intense and seems to have a round white area under it, whereas the rest of his shell is dull yellow without the white underneath. Will the white spread as he grows to strengthen his shell?
5) the tank temp is 25 deg celcius, is this too high for him? I need it this temp for my other fish
