I had three minutes are crayfish and I just got 3 more with the hopes of breeding them but I can't decide what tank to put them in.
Currently the first three are in a 29 gallon tank with two angel fish. The angelfish are not the right ones for breeding tank so I don't consider this the permanent home for them.
I have three other tanks. A 34 gallon with Endlers and a bristlenose pleco. A 50 gallon with endlers and a bristlenose pleco. And a 60 gallon with 5 small to large goldfish.
I am considering moving one of the plecos to the goldfish tank and putting all 6 crayfish into that tank. The 34 gallon has smaller gravel which I think the crayfish would prefer but is that too small for 6 of them? It is heavily planted and I would move their caves into it. The 50 gallon has a mixed rock with some larger round gravel (fingertip size) and some smaller. It is also heavily planted.
What do you think I should do?
