Have about 10 Yamato shrimp and I was interested in maybe getting some cherry shrimp or some others and I'm not sure how compatible the different species are? Any specifics to watch out for?

They should be fine together, but I've heard amano shrimp can be pigs and hog all the food, just make sure the cherry shrimp are getting plenty and everything should be okay.

Some shrimp will interbreed which is generally considered undesirable. There are list on which ones do on planet invert.

Yeah I know I just didn't want him thinking those would.

Took the words right out of my mouth LOL :)
Watched a female CRS steal a Shrimp pellet from some young RCS last night....she was determined ! LOL

Working on setting up my old 20gal as a cherry shrimp tank, I picked up four of them today. Just starting out decoration and plant wise, here are some pics.
