Got a bunch of live plant and a bunch of snails came in on them.fond 2 and I think there breeding. Haven't seen any damage to plants but should I be worried?

More than likely pond snails or ramshorn snails....both have babies by themselves. In other words they will multiply if you miss even one and over feed your tank. They do not eat plants but will take over if you are in a habit of feeding more food to your fish than they can eat.

O don't think I over feed too much but I'll cut back.its been a month and I've done nothing to control them cause despite previous warnings i liked them and just thought hey free snail.i rarely see them because there are lots of places to hide. For all I know there are thousands of em. I guess I'll play border security officer and eliminate these invertebrate immigrants

My snails only eat dead plant matter. They don't hurt healthy plants. I have Pond, Ramshorns and MTS.
