is this parasite harmful to shrimp ?

i found this parasite while water change. any idea people?

That looks like a planaria. When researching if they'd make good food for fish, I did read something that mentioned they excrete a slime trail that harms shrimp, though I forget if it just paralyzed it or outright killed the shrimp. Either way, I'd recommend getting rid of this ASAP

how would i get rid of it ? theres only a few in the tank, might be hard to spot it.
 
You might try doing a water change and feeding less, as they're often caused as a result of overfeeding. Also, if you're inspecting your shrimp and you see one, I'd definitely recommend having some airline tubing handy to siphon them out.
